2017
For this collection I made bears in variety of sizes ranging from approx. 10ins to 17ins which all found new homes.
The larger bears, all boys were created from gorgeous rich toned dense alpaca. While some of the smaller bears, particularly the girls had a blend of both alpaca and beautiful luxurious windswept Schulte mohair, which I think gave them a more delicate feminine look! The exception was Maisie..who was made from the most dense multi toned mohair I have ever used! She’s super cute with her little bodice!
Every bear was unique, with their own expression and personality. They all had detailed hand embroidered foot/pawpaws and of course their own special hand worked embellished collar, bodice, or hat to compliment their colouring. I made use of a variety of techniques, for example most of the collars have been felted while others have been created using blended yarns..something I just love to do!

Hugglets Winter Bearfest 2016
Just a few of the bears which were available at the Hugglet’s Winter Bearfest in London on Sunday 28th February.
This collection has been a joy to work on through the long winter months. I have used many different types of mohairs, alpacas and yarns. This has helped me to create a varied palette of subtle colours and textures with the emphasis on light and uplifting shades. I have tweaked and adjusted my patterns slightly and created even more detailed paw/foot pads. This time as well as the embellished collars I have even tried my hand at making a hat ..or two!

Hugglets Teddies 2014
Here are a few of the bears that were available at Hugglets Teddies 2014 event on September 14th!
This time I’ve had fun working with a few beautiful curly and windswept mohairs, which have challenged my facial scissor shaping techniques, but I am thrilled with the end results. The bears are just a little bit different, and more traditional in style! Also…I’ve enjoyed using Alpaca, a real favourite of mine to work with, beautifully dense and luxurious, and very, very tactile!
Each bear has my signature hand embroidered paw/footpads, in a variety of shapes, some with padded heels, using pure wool felt, real leathers, ultra suede, and hand painted techniques.
As you can see… we also have colour!!! and another little bodice! Collars too…using many different threads, wools, silks, beads, and leathers, and buttons, all to compliment, and blend with each bear making each and everyone unique. I absolutely loved making them all!!
